Peter has been practicing in the area of Criminal Law since 1984 when he worked as a police prosecutor in NSW.  That position exposed him to the jurisdictions of the Local Court, children's Court and Coroner's Court.  During that time he studied at UTS and attained an LLB(Hon).  He was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1990 and was employed by various Government Departments including the NSW Office of the DPP, NSW Legal Aid Commission and the office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
